[SEL] how do you tie down?

This prompts another related question. I have used rope ,chain with turn 
buckle and web ratchet straps to tie down engines in a trailer. I always 
stop and tighten everything up after a couple of km's. I don't want to think 
about a crash stop!I also have anchor points on the trailer floor right 
through to the sub steel.
Ramps, ...that's another question................
