[SEL] Portland, IN

 Having never been to Portland, what is the difference in the two areas ?  
The wife & I are going to be there in August, so which area is best ?  I don't 
swim too well, so higher ground is appreciated :-)    A shaded area is always 
nice, but we do plan to bring portable shade just in case there aren't many 
trees.
 We also hope to set up with the SEL group if possible.
