A good case in point is Dave's Famous. The former owner (a member of our
club) considered the engine to be a hard-starting piece-of-shit. During
the mechanical phase of the restoration, Dave discovered that the timing
gears were a couple of teeth out of proper position. When he corrected
that the engine was vastly easier to start.
Maybe Glenn needs to consult with a Christianson guru like Joe Maurer?
