[SEL] clogged pipe help

Tom,
I'm guessing this is a gasoline fired soldering iron? Old gasoline will 
eventually dry into the cakes you describe. I've had good success 
dissolving dried gas residue with lacquer thinner. Fill her up and let 
it soak a few days and it'll be clean as a whistle.
