A real good point Peter.  I have a 4 HP Cushman Binder engine which is a
real oil slinger.  I was able to make a big reduction by making a check
valve for the crankcase breather.  Lets air out but does not let it in.
This keeps the crankcase pressure slightly negative and stopped a lot of the
oil seeping out everywhere.
