I had the same problem when I tried posting an item.  I resolved it by
hosting the picture on my area on the oldengine.org site and linking the
picture instead of having oldiron auction host it.  Looks like there is a
problem in uploading the picture.  To get around it, you need to either
not put a picture in the auction or host it on another site and link to
it.
