I've cancelled today's work session in Cleveland as the demolition activities
at the plant has made space cramped around the compressor and I didn't want
to be in their way. It will be safe until I return from Vacation after the
first of the year and I'll start working on it again.

When I get up there again I intend to remove the air cylinders and
crankshaft/flywheel and transport those pieces during one trip, then return to haul out
the main casting. That main casting will be the heaviest part and I am hoping
that the Ford superduty flatbed can handle it. We may have to lift it with a
pair of I beams and cribbing to get it loaded but that isn't something that
we haven't done before.

David Hill from Park Ohio mentioned that he recieved a package of
documentation from Ingersoll Rand about the compressor, which will aid in our restoration
of the engine.

Have a Merry Christmas everyone. Go to our webshots page at
http://community.webshots.com/user/todengine and look at our Christmas Card
to all of our supporters. 2004 has been a momentus year for the Tod Engine
Foundation. During the past year we moved 239,000 lbs. worth of engine parts to
the site, leased the Tod Engine restoration shop, hired an architect and
obtained the building permit for the engine display building, acquired the IR
Imperial compressor and a front end loader. We will build upon this years
successes in 2005 when we successfully move the remaining engine parts to the site and
erect the display building, put in our front parking area and construct the
on site office.

Take Care!
