Hi Dave,

Pull one of the hand-hole covers and see how much oil/water/stuff is
in the crankcase.  Then drain the mung that's in there, clean it well with
kero, and add some fresh oil.  You want the nuts on the end of the con rod
to _just_ dip into the oil; maybe 1/8", no more.

I'm guessing that you may have more fluid than that in the crankcase
which is splashing up into the cylinder.

And for what its worth, most of the Novo "S" engines that I've seen do
smoke some, but not as much as the Novo in your pics.  Helps to keep the
area mosquito free.  8-))

PS - Don't forget to turn the oiler back on and set it to ~1 drop per
minute / hp.
