The literature that Ken posted to the List indicates that the saw is about 
3,000 lbs. (I finally figured out how the enlarge it so that I could read 
it.) I think the base must be cast iron--but surely NOT solid! I'll take 
the 7,000 gvw trailer. It weighs just over 2,200 lbs, so I'll be well w/in 
the limit.
