Okie Dokie,
Thanks for the iinfo, that's 100% more info than I had a minute ago. It's
just been too many years since I've had to re-time anything this size and it
s been in the garage since 1969 waiting. Finally excavated it and gotta get
it running. LOL
I just signed on here and had some problems with my firewall not letting me
post. I'm a retired (and really tired) cross country trucker who finally
has the time to work on these engines once again. I sold some off last week
just cause I can't wrestle the heavy iron around any more but am keeping a
couple to play with.
My dad and I collected them for years, and some of you may know dad, Wayne D
Jacobs as he was at a lot of the shows exhibiting and selling IHC
Literature.
Anyhow, thanks again. If anybody has any specifics on what to adjust
and/or how to adjust it I'm open to all suggestions. Right now it appears
to be firing at TDC but just a very short stroke on the mag. I don't know
if it's even turning the mag enough to generate a spark but I'll re-tackle
it in the am.
Bob

Bob. The only information I can give is to have the mag trip 5° before
TDC for each 100 rpm that the engine is running.
