Hi all
The engine I posted about last week I believe is a A.H. McDonald "Imperial Super Diesel" model "J" made between 1919 & 1925 and believed to be 10hp.
The first model had a 6" bore x 9" stroke at 8hp and was upgraded to renewable cylinder of 61/2" bore and 9" stroke at 10hp @ 500 rpm.
Does anyone in Oz know of anyone who has one of these, I would very much like to find another survivor before I decide whether this one survives again also. Needs a lot of work.
